My Kubernetes Cluster
This website is hosted on a bare metal Kubernetes cluster that I built using Raspberry Pi's. In this cluster I run various experiments and stats you see here are directly taken via KubernetesClient.
Including this UI and gRPC backend pods to present this portfolio
MetalLB as load balancer,
Traefik for ingress controller,
Let's Encrypt for certificates
Including a Docker private image registry
For various tasks like getting image of the day
Used 5 Raspberry Pi's and a NAS. I can easily add new devices when needed

Kubernetes
Proudly self-hosted at my Raspberry Pi 5-4 cluster! Nodes are prepared and cluster deployed with a single Ansible command.
Ansible
I felt this Kubernetes setup would be incomplete without fully automating nodes. Also encourages experimentation since I can reset the lab rapidly if things break beyond repair.
Docker
Deployed with Docker images. Public images are on my DockerHub account, while private multi-arch images are managed in this cluster via a private Docker Registry & Web UI.
.Net 10 & Blazor
This project is created with Domain Driven Design in mind and uses latest .Net + Blazor features.
Go
If writing a cron with just yaml is not practical, I write it with Go. For trying out other languages to widen my view.
gRPC
Wanted to try something other than REST, used gRPC and liked it.
PostgreSQL
Current database. I like Its features and like to experiment with it.
OpenTelemetry
Traces are a must
Prometheus & Alertmanager
Using it for 4+ years alongside Alertmanager to collect metrics, monitor cluster health, and handle critical alerts.
Grafana
This cluster wouldn't be complete without mesmerizing dashboards of Grafana
Jaeger
Distributed tracing platform to trace request lifecycles across gRPC microservices and web clients.
Seq
For displaying logs with traces. Has a simple an nice UI.
Lens
Using it to observe the cluster in a more graphical way. Thinking about trying K9s later. Especially for colored logs
Kubecolor
Mentioning this because it's a must have. It colors all the kubectl output, including logs of the pods!

Using for Jaeger for persistency

Securing access to my panels with it
Traefik
Handles all reverse proxy routing, SSL termination, and Forward-Auth middleware for Authentik across the cluster.
Helm
Essential for templating and managing lifecycle releases of Traefik, Grafana, Authentik, and observability stacks.
MetalLB
Brings bare-metal Layer 2 load balancing to my Raspberry Pi cluster, assigning dedicated VIPs to ingress services.
Cert-Manager
Automates issuing and renewing Let's Encrypt SSL/TLS certificates for all custom domains and panel subdomains.
Flannel
Simple and rock-solid VXLAN overlay network connecting all 5 physical Raspberry Pi nodes seamlessly.
Containerd
Industry-standard container runtime running underneath Kubernetes on every node, configured via Ansible.
Uptime Kuma
Self-hosted status page and health monitoring watching over my sites, APIs, and cluster endpoints.
Kibana
Used alongside Elasticsearch to visualize, search, and analyze cluster and application log streams.
Admin Neo
Lightweight, sleek web management GUI for inspecting and maintaining my PostgreSQL databases.
GitHub Actions
Drives all CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and multi-arch image compilation paired with my in-cluster self-hosted runner.
